Attempted to make Lawry's creamed spinach. I actually really liked it, except that I put in too much flour. Next time I will mince the leaves more, put in more bacon, and put in less corn. I'll also give it more time to cook over the heat so the "cream" is .. creamier.

Today was exhausting.

9:00am: Wake up, shower, do makeup, eat, pack.
10:20am: Head to Riverside.
11:30am: Arrive at Riverside, drive to the library to print resume, drive to interview.
12:10pm: Interview.
12:40: Arrive back at AT, eat pho with Yanbo.
2:30: Head out to see house 1.
3:50: Leave house 1, get gas, see house 2. See house 2, leave.
4:00: Arrive back at AT, cuddle w/Yanbo. Hang up his clothes and get his work outfit ready when he showers. Thinks about mending blanket when I come back.
5:00 Drop Yanbo off at work.
5:20 Arrive home, take out both dogs to pee/poop.
5:30: Fill out Yanbo's rebate and mail it off.
5:40: Discover library is closed, drive back to AT.
6:00: Go out to Fedex print Yanbo's stuff
6:30: Go to Ralphs and buy groceries
7:00 Go home and clean (wash dishes, clean counters, etc). Begin cooking.
8:30 Finish cooking, finish cleaning. Yanbo's dinner is ready<3 Clean out fridge, throw out trash, and have his dinner warm&ready for him when he's home.
8:40 Arrive at BB to say goodbye to Yanbo, inform him of dinner. Drive back to Irvine.
9:30 Relax at home. Yay.

Dinner is always so happy to see me. Like... crazy hyper... bouncing off walls... haha. I love him.

Okay, so I'm cheating a little with today's post. This isn't from TODAY... but I thought it was a wonderful picture of the bonfire we had at Corona Del Mar on Sunday.
I'm craving chocolate. Also, I have an interview for an internship with the state Senator. I do hope I get it!

A lot of things happened today. Eusden & Yanbo finally met, I got to go out to lunch with two of my favorite people in the world, Yanbo went home on a train (after getting me a micro SD converter.. yay I can upload pictues!), and I had a nervous breakdown in Pantera.

I just realized that if I do succeed in the private industry, I'll be working 70 hour weeks, which means my child... if I even have any... won't really know me.

I don't know what triggered it. Well I do. I was studying & I look out the window & I happen to see a young couple. The mother has her child in her arms, just playing with him, when the dad is walking right next to them. I was like, "*dreamy sigh* I wonder if I'll ever have that with Yanbo"- and then it struck me as I stared at my book & everything I read in Ahead of the Curve about broken families and 100 hour workweeks and... yeah.

I hate you, LG.

The view from my corner of the cafeteria where I study T__T. Every... single... day. *sigh*

So I had a post halfway written when the computer I'm on completely froze.

Then it struck me.
At this point in my life, pretty much everything that's happened in my life is related to academics/school.

For a long time now, I haven't been doing well academically. This summer, it's all changed.
I've boiled it down to three parts.

1] newfound self-confidence in my own abilities
2] newfound motivation for myself, not for others, but sheerly for myself
3] newfound feeling of proactiveness. It's a word now, don't argue with me =p

This has led to:

1] active participation in class
2] self-motivated studying (my parents don't know I'm studying for graduate school)
3] decrease in quality of life elsewhere (but does it correlate?)

I feel really betrayed by someone I trusted, a friend. My relationship is now a one-sided street. I look at my friends, and find that most of them are simply too immature for me. The ones who are not, are just too busy with their lives for me (which I understand perfectly and do not begrudge them and wish them success), being as we're at the point in our lives where we simply need to grow up. My laptop has been destroyed and I have a lot of it backed up but I lost a lot of things. I have no financial freedom (or freedom at all) living in Irvine, and it's honestly a golden chain with my parents and I.

All this has culminated into a feeling of complete misery.

What is the point of this story?

The only physical and mental enjoyment I really have these days is my cup of coffee. [Isn't it lovely?]

First off, Columbian coffee is awesome. Second, my tooth fracture is not. Third, I got a 100% on my philosophy quiz. Fourth, my teacher is a pothead. Fifth, I strongly suspect he may be allergic to flour. Lastly, this crap is confusing.

This is an unphotoshopped photo of my eyes. Circle lens give my eyes that light brown color. I think I'm going to try grey next.

Today I woke up and took a diag test. 93% percentile. Hopefully, in a few months, I will be up there on the 97% percentile. I'm really excited, actually, because I feel like this is what I am good at... this is what I should do.

I was thinking about PLUR today. I'm obsessed with this song. I played it 20 times already.

Watched Eclipse with Titus' youth group. Eclipse: Enough cheese to feed Africa.

Jacob is hot, except for his nose. His nose looks like Voldys from HP.

Alice is way hotter than Rose in this movie.

Also, studied today. Yanbo said I should take a diag first. Asked my mom, she's willing to let me go to the full course if I need to.

This is a picture of Taiko's lunch time sashimi bowl. It has salmon, tuna, mackerel, yellowtail, and something else. This is actually Steve's lunch, but I had a bit of the mackerel (my favorite!). My lunch with a Thai Iced Tea, Pineapple fried rice, and Earl Grey tea.

I returned my CBEST book today and spent about two hours studying. I'm quite confident that I'll do well on my test! But... it's too early to say, especially since some parts of it are really hard!

Today was another wonderful day, spent with the two beings that I love the most... my baby and my lover. I can not believe how much I cherish any time I can spend with him. <3

I'm a little excited as I embark upon the possible road for a new career, but it will all depend on how I score. Uh-oh... something I actually need to study for. This will be interesting. Must remind myself to read more.

Tell me, who could resist such an adorable face? I love my puppy so much.

I was thinking about my starter home today.
A starter home where I can move to when I'm about 25, with a job, in a safe neighborhood. I was thinking about Long Beach, since it seems to be a nice city that's not too ridiculously expensive. If I am married and if my future husband also has a job and some money saved up, perhaps we could live in a home where the down payments are about 1,500 a month for the house. I do know that comes up to about 20k a year for housing... but I think it's do-able if we live frugally. I really wouldn't mind living in a home in Riverside, as long as it had a gigantic backyard. I want somewhere my baby can run around all day happily, perhaps with his very own friend :].

I only hope the housing market remains relatively cheap in the next three years, especially Riverside. Once UCR gets a medical school, property prices will increase and (hopefully), if I have a starter home in Riverside, it will be profitable.

But I dream. I need a job, NOW... to pay off my bills.. NOW!

This way my adorable little baby will have a home :]
